When, if not now! Such a milestone anniversary is the best occasion to pay tribute to the people without whose donations the collections of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation would not be continuously enriched. The Bauhaus Museum Dessau is showing selected pieces that the foundation has received since the museum opened in 2019. The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of events entitled From the Showcase, featuring public talks and lectures with academics and the donors.
Day 2: Bauhaus, Masters' Houses and UNESCO World Heritage Site
10:00 a.m.
- Start with a walk from your hotel to the Bauhaus building. At 11 a.m. the public guided tour starts, offering an insight into many rooms.
12:00 p.m.
- After a light lunch in the café-bistro in the Bauhaus, you will explore the nearby Masters' Houses. These provide a further impressive insight into the everyday life of the Bauhaus members.
2:00 p.m.
- In the afternoon, we recommend a walk through the UNESCO World Heritage Park Georgium. Georgium Palace is home to the impressive Anhalt Picture Gallery.
7:00 p.m.
- Finish with a 3-course modern menu with a view of the Elbe in the Bauhaus Restaurant Kornhaus.

Day 3: Bauhaus Museum and Bauhaus Estate
10:00 a.m.
- The day begins with another highlight: a visit to the Bauhaus Museum Dessau with one of the most extensive collections of Bauhaus exhibits in the world.
12:30 p.m.
- At lunchtime, it is a good idea to take a short break in the nearby Café Lily - Genusswerkstatt and enjoy some quiche or cake.
2:00 p.m.
- Then continue by bus line 10 or streetcar line 1 to the south of Dessau to the Bauhaus housing estate Dessau Törten and the arcade houses.
3:00 p.m.
- The historic Bauhaus housing estate can be explored as part of a public guided tour.
Day 4: Hugo Junkers Museum of Technology
11:00 a.m.
- The perfect end to your stay in Dessau is a visit to the "Hugo Junkers" Museum of Technology
- Highlights of the exhibition are an original Ju 52 and a steel house.
